Activities for Children
Children 0-5: Build with blocks; create art rubbings of saints, angels and nature; ring the bells; play dress up; and watch Bible stories under a tent.
Children 5-8: ring the bells; discover melody selections from Catholic hymnals; and create an electronic stained-glass window.
Children 8 & up: participate in a scavenger hunt, available at the Admissions Desk.

The inaugural exhibition celebrating Pope John Paul II's Silver Jubilee Year brings the highlights of his pontificate to life through photographs from the archives of the Vatican newspaper. These photographs illustrate how the Holy Father's devotion to the Eucharist is at the center of his pontificate.

A New Heart Will I Give You
February 4 - May 31, 2004

This exhibition illustrates the Holy Father's efforts at reconciliation through his work to advance peace, justice and love of neighbor - between nations, social classes, religions and even his own attempted assassin.

Blessed is He Who Comes in the Name of the Lord
June 8 - August 22, 2004

This exhibition focuses the lens on the Pope in his role as the Successor to St. Peter and as the conscience of the world.

Into the Deep: The Third Millennium
September 1 - November 7, 2004

This final exhibition draws from themes close to the Pope's heart as he steers the Church into the new millennium: youth, ecumenism, faith and culture.
