In honor of Divine Mercy, a Mass is celebrated at the Cultural Center the last Sunday of the month at 3:00 PM. "The Message of Divine Mercy has always been near and dear to me… which I took with me to the See of Peter and which it in a sense forms the image of this Pontificate." - Pope John Paul II

Dmitry Lyubin (Curator of Konstantinovsky Palace Museum at the Hermitage, Russia) will lecture on Russian Art and Politics: The Hermitage Museum and the President's Konstantinovsky Palace - Thursday May 7 at 7:30 PM in the Pope John Paul II Theater. Admission is free.

Healing Service by Padre Martin Scott - May 2, 2009

Our Lord is always ready to manifest His healing mercy; however, our human sin blocks us from experiencing this merciful healing grace. For this reason, Padre Martin Scott and other priests will first hear confessions before the celebration of the Holy Mass, and afterwards Padre Martín Scott will do a Benediction before he starts the Healing Service.

Divine Mercy Mass - April 26, 2009

Pope John Paul II, both in his teachings and personal life, strove to live and teach the message of Divine Mercy. Rabbi Leon Klenicki 1930 - 2009 - February 26, 2009

February 26, 2009 marks the 30 day anniversary of the death of Rabbi Leon Klenicki, a pioneer in interfaith dialogue, a contemporary and friend of Pope John Paul II.  The Anti-Defamation League and The Pope John Paul II Cultural Center invite you to join us in remembering Rabbi Klenicki in a memorial service to be held on Thursday, February 26 at 10:00 A.M. at the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center.

December 13 - A Christmas Message of Peace

On Saturday, December 13th, a simulcast joint message of peace, from Washington and Bethlehem, to the world takes place at 11:30 a.m. in the Rotunda at the Cultural Center.  Listen to choirs from DC and the Holy Land singing carols in Arabic and English; view the Center’s annual crèche display; and partake in the many other offerings, including a documentary about Arab Christians in the Holy Land.
