A
Place to Reflect On the Journey
The journey through
the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center is completed in the Café,
where visitors can reconnect with friends and family, enjoy refreshments,
review their experiences and share their impressions.
The Café offers box lunches, including a sandwich, chips and cookies, for $7.25 and soft drinks for $1. Visitors are at all times welcome to bring their own food and take advantage of the Café seating area.
By scanning their visitor card at one of the Café's 16 interactive review stations, guests can view their testimonials, stained glass window creations and reflect on other activities enjoyed during the Center experience. By reviewing their activities and creations, visitors continue to explore actively and discuss their faith with others in the Café.
The Café also offers visitors the tools necessary to continue their exploration of faith at home. Here, visitors access the Center's "Faith in Action" database, a listing of church and community organizations in need of volunteer assistance. Armed with the knowledge that their strength and faith can be put to work for others in need, visitors are inspired to give of themselves upon returning to their local communities.
"Certificate Stations" are also accessible in the Café, giving visitors customized records of their Cultural Center experience and completes their personal tour.
